faith is in the struggle
The lovely Emily Zempel reminds me that faith is in the struggle.
And what is inspiring for others is seeing that, yes you are stuggling for what you believe, what you do not understand, and what is unkwown, but it is worth it.
It's worth it.
The same goes for art.
What communicates art more is sincerity. Personal commitment--if you were not expressing thiese emotions you may not live. Johnny Cash's voice embodies this. You know that each line spoken carries a weight and a history and an idea that is from deep inside. Inside bones.
We need to believe what we are saying whole-heartedly. OR show that we do not completely believe it, or understand it, yet the struggle is worth it. I do not understand what it means to believe in something whole-heartedly, to trust completely, to love completely, but I do not what it feels like to be confused and run the race anyway.
I'm in New York now, after Nevada. It feels like a nice home so how about moving here in April.
